I'm an asset management marketing leader, content strategist, and writer with over 20 years of corporate and agency experience.

  • Crafting content strategy and copywriting for a global asset manager's value-added marketing curriculum

  • Devising and writing an award-winning behavioral finance education program (for advisors and investors, including a spin-off for the DCIO market)

Marketing strategy and content creation for asset/investment managers and marketing agencies. Work on a project, contract, and/or longer-term retainer basis.

2009 – 2012

GROUP DIRECTOR

S2 FINANCIAL MARKETING

Led client services, strategy and project execution for top-tier asset management clients. Started in 2009-10 as strategy consultant and writer, collaborating on new business proposals (for asset management clients) and creative projects. Hired as Group Director in 2010.

2008 – 2009

SVP INTERMEDIARY MARKETING

LEHMAN BROTHERS/ NEUBERGER BERMAN

Devised strategy for merging and rebranding two divisions within Lehman Brothers (LB asset management and Neuberger Berman). Managed initiatives to address new sales channels – incorporating brand research, product marketing, value-added (educational) programs, and thought leadership platforms to attract new clients/distributors.

2005 – 2007

VP MARKETING STRATEGY & INNOVATION

JANUS CAPITAL GROUP

Reorganized marketing to address the intermediary distribution channel. Spearheaded a communications revamp, website redo and a major shift in group mindset (from retail to institutional). Managed re-branding initiatives, including extensive market research to inform positioning with key stakeholders and distributors. Co-founded Janus Labs (advisor value add program) and established an institutional thought leadership platform.

2002 – 2005

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

WORLD SAVINGS BANK

Created and managed integrated campaigns to cross-market investment products via 300 retail branches, bank investment reps and direct/digital efforts.
